ABSTRACT
This paper is a highly speculative view of the future of engineering
eduction. It is a response to a similarly predictive paper
called
"A Day in the Life of a Student in 2012," (Ponte, 1962), which
was reprinted together with this paper in a special
issue of the Proceedings of the IEEE.
